Friday's close brought Bitcoin to $80,883.87, a level that carries particular weight: miners' estimated production costs sit in that vicinity, and a sustained position above them has historically distinguished bull markets from mere recoveries. The session closed with net inflows of $433mn into Bitcoin exchange-traded funds, and $624mn across crypto ETFs more broadly — figures that reflect a degree of institutional conviction not easily dismissed.
The broader market moved in sympathy. Ether closed at $2,612.14 with momentum at 64.4, while Solana finished at $112.72, its RSI at 66.2. Both assets remain some distance from overbought territory. Zcash, by contrast, closed at $1,562.07 with an RSI of 74.7 — the only asset in this survey to have crossed that threshold, placing it in technically extended ground.
XRP, at $1.40, sits closer to its mid-range, with resistance at $1.48 — a level tested twice — just 5.9 per cent above Friday's close. Regulatory developments in the United States may yet prove consequential for that particular asset. The broader sentiment barometer reads 57 out of 100: neutral, and perhaps appropriately so.
