◆ Technical view · 25 September
Thursday's session closed with a detail worth noting. Bitcoin's net inflows via exchange-traded funds on Thursday the 24th of September reached $191mn, while net flows across crypto ETFs more broadly totalled $304mn — a continuation of the institutional participation that has characterised recent weeks. Yet Bitcoin's close on Thursday, at $84,410.24, represents only a modest advance from the preceding session's $84,397.60, and several assets have eased from the peaks recorded earlier in the week. The price has held; the momentum has not notably pressed higher.
The momentum readings at Thursday's close confirm a market that has stepped back from extension without abandoning its footing. Bitcoin's RSI stood at 65.5, some 4.5 points from overbought ground. Ether closed Thursday's session at $2,688.05, its momentum at 63.4. Solana, at $117.04, returned an RSI of 65.4. None of the assets surveyed remains in overbought territory — a condition last observed earlier in the week.
TRX stands apart by one measure. At Thursday's close of $0.3403, its RSI of 54.2 leaves it a mere 0.7 per cent from the mid-range threshold of 50, the quietest reading in this survey. The nearest support, at $0.3245 and tested twice, lies only 4.7 per cent below that close. The sentiment barometer, at 51 out of 100, reflects the broader disposition: a market that is neither retreating nor pressing forward.

Reader's note
Technical data computed from Binance USDT pairs. Ranks come from the CoinMarketCap ranking. Some major cryptocurrencies not listed on Binance may be missing from this ranking.
RSI 14 Momentum indicator computed over 14 periods using Wilder's method. Above 70, the asset is considered overbought; below 30, oversold.
P Abbreviation used in column headers for “Price” (the current price). A standard financial convention (P/E ratio, P/B ratio, etc.).
$0.0ₙ XYZ Compact notation for sub-cent values (CoinMarketCap / DexScreener style). The subscript ₙ counts the consecutive zeros after the decimal point, followed by the first four significant digits. Example: $0.0₅5780 = $0.000005780 (five zeros, then 5780).
Support A price level where buyers have historically regained control. A support tested several times is considered well established.
Resistance A level where sellers have historically prevailed. A break through it often marks a change of trend worth watching.
MA50/200 Price position relative to its 50-day (short-term) and 200-day (long-term) moving averages. ▲▲ price above both: uptrend confirmed. ▼▲ below the MA50 but above the MA200: correction within an uptrend. ▲▼ above the MA50 but below the MA200: rebound within a downtrend. ▼▼ below both: downtrend confirmed. ▲- or ▼-: MA200 unavailable (history too short), only the MA50 position is shown.
P vs MA20 Percentage gap between the current price (P for Price) and its 20-day moving average (about one month). The MA20 also serves as the middle line of the Bollinger Bands (default settings), which ties this indicator to the reading of volatility. A short-term momentum gauge that complements the RSI and the MA50/200 regime. ▲ +X%: price above its MA20, positive momentum. ▼ −X%: price below its MA20, negative momentum.
Timeframe 1D Each candle represents one trading day. A scale suited to medium-term trend analysis.
