IV
Of Technical Signals
❦
◆ Technical view · 26 September

Friday's session closed with a note of quiet resilience. Bitcoin slipped 0.4 per cent to close at $84,099.99, yet net inflows into Bitcoin exchange-traded funds on Friday the 25th of September reached $134mn; across crypto ETFs more broadly, the figure was $332mn. The divergence — a falling price met by institutional buying — recalls patterns observed earlier in the week, when Wednesday's sharper decline drew inflows of $347mn. Institutional participants appear, once again, to have treated weakness as an occasion rather than a warning.

The momentum readings at Friday's close remain orderly. Bitcoin's RSI stood at 64.3, some 3.5 per cent from overbought ground. Solana, closing the session at $122.15, warrants closer attention: its RSI of 69.4 leaves it only 0.6 per cent from the threshold — the nearest of any asset surveyed to overbought territory. Its nearest support, at $81.39 and tested three times, lies 33.4 per cent below that close, a considerable distance.

Elsewhere, TRX closed at $0.3382 with an RSI of 50.4, a mere 0.1 per cent above the mid-range mark — the quietest reading in the survey and a contrast to the general tenor of the week.
