Method: current price and 7-day change from CoinMarketCap (real time).
Weekly min/max, range and volume are computed from Binance daily candles over the last 7 days
— the current price may therefore sit outside that range after a very recent move.
Range = (max − min) / min, in %. 7-day RSI uses Wilder's formula (period 14)
on weekly candles (or aggregated daily candles when unavailable).
Top 20 by market capitalisation, excluding stablecoins. Cryptocurrencies not listed on Binance are shown as “—”.

On the financial press agenda this week: Bitcoin · macroeconomics · geopolitical tensions · regulation · altcoins.
The root problem with conventional currency is all the trust that's required to make it work. The central bank must be trusted not to debase the currency, but the history of fiat currencies is full of breaches of that trust.
— Satoshi Nakamoto, anonymous creator of Bitcoin (active 2008–2011)

❦
◆ Verdict · Friday 25 September session
Bullish conviction.
Bitcoin draws $134mn as its price rises 0.54%: conviction holds. Among altcoins, flows follow the move (−2.80% to +0.34%).
The week that opened with Bitcoin clearing $86,000 and a broad panel of assets in overbought territory closed with Bitcoin at $84,402, a seven-day change of minus 0.01 per cent, and weekly volume down 43.6 per cent against the prior week. The price, in the end, went almost nowhere. The volume tells the more consequential story.
A contraction of that magnitude in trading activity is not a routine ebb. It describes a market that, having moved with purpose the week before, chose restraint. Bitcoin's Bollinger position — latest price at $84,402, comfortably within the corridor bounded by $78,385 and $88,354, with the 20-day average at $83,370 — confirms the picture: no break in either direction, no signal of extension, a market holding its ground without pressing further.
Against that stillness, the ETF flows stand in notable contrast. Bitcoin-linked funds recorded net inflows of $2,386mn over the week, Ethereum products a further $690mn, for a combined $3,076mn — a figure that, in any prior week of comparable volume, might have been expected to move prices more decisively. Institutional capital continued to arrive; it found a market that absorbed it quietly.
The week's sharpest moves came from within the top twenty by market capitalisation. BCH advanced 31.3 per cent and NEAR 20.8 per cent; LINK added 12.7 per cent. These were not the gains of a broad rally but of a selective rotation, assets moving in isolation while the market's centre of gravity held still. TRX, by contrast, declined 2.9 per cent — the only significant loss among the larger names.
The editorial barometer moved from 56.1 to 56.9, neutral throughout. That reading, set beside the volume contraction and the range-bound price, captures the week's essential character: not a pause born of anxiety, but one that follows exertion — a market that has reached a level and is, for now, taking the measure of it.
