◆ Verdict · Monday 28 September session
Selling pressure.
Bitcoin falls 0.35% and suffers $24mn of outflows: selling pressure is building. Altcoins follow (−1.81% to +0.46%).
Chainlink closed Monday's session at $15.45 with a momentum reading of 74.2 — the lone asset in this survey to have crossed into overbought territory at that close, and one that has held above the threshold, having arrived there from a considerable distance. The nearest support lies at $7.00, tested twice and some 54.7 per cent below Monday's close, a span that ranks as the widest in this survey. When momentum reaches extension and the established floor lies at such a remove, the configuration merits attention in its own right, without elaboration.
The remainder of the market presents a more measured picture. Bitcoin closed at $83,500.01, its momentum at 60.9, sitting 5.0 per cent from overbought ground. Ether closed at $2,688.71 with an RSI of 63.1. Solana, at $118.89, carries a momentum reading of 63.3, with its three-times-tested support at $81.39 — 31.5 per cent below Monday's close — remaining the most closely-watched floor in this survey.
ETF flows on Monday the 28th of September recorded a net outflow of $24mn for Bitcoin and $5mn across crypto ETFs broadly. The sentiment barometer holds at 52 out of 100: a market at neutral ground, with one notable exception.
