◆ Verdict · Wednesday 30 September session
Profit-taking.
Bitcoin gains ground (+0.53%) yet suffers $149mn of outflows: holders are cashing in. Among altcoins, caution prevails (flows −$71mn, prices −0.51% to +2.44%).
Wednesday's session closed with a configuration that, at the quarterly boundary, invites a particular kind of attention. Bitcoin's exchange-traded funds recorded net outflows of $149mn on the 30th of September, with net flows across all crypto ETFs reaching minus $220mn — the first notably negative reading in a sequence that has otherwise favoured inflows. Yet at Wednesday's close, Bitcoin held at $83,623.60, a retreat of less than one-tenth of one per cent from Tuesday's $83,663.66. Institutional participants withdrew capital; the price did not follow.
The momentum readings at Wednesday's close remain orderly across the survey. Ether closed at $2,686.01, its RSI at 62.3. Chainlink, which touched overbought ground as recently as Monday's session, returned a reading of 62.8 at Wednesday's close — 10.4 per cent from the threshold. Solana closed at $118.12, its RSI at 61.7, with its three-times-tested support at $81.39 remaining 31.1 per cent below.
TRX stands in a category of its own. At Wednesday's close of $0.3374, momentum sat at 50.5 — a mere 0.1 per cent from the mid-range threshold, with resistance at $0.3376 essentially level with the close. The sentiment barometer, at 56 out of 100, holds to neutral ground.
