On the financial press agenda this week: Bitcoin · macroeconomics · geopolitical tensions · ETF flows · regulation.
Money is the most important thing in the world. It represents health, strength, honor, generosity and beauty as conspicuously and undeniably as the want of it represents illness, weakness, disgrace, meanness and ugliness.

◆ Verdict · Friday 2 October session
Bullish conviction.
Bitcoin draws $190mn as its price rises 1.48%: conviction holds. Among altcoins, flows remain cautious (−0.12% to +3.61%).
Sunday's session closed with Bitcoin at $86,530.00, its momentum reading of 68.7 leaving it a mere 0.6 per cent from overbought ground — the narrowest margin in this survey, and one that has not been touched since Solana briefly approached the threshold a week ago. The session on Friday the 2nd of October recorded net inflows into Bitcoin exchange-traded funds of $190mn, with net flows across all crypto ETFs reaching $151mn. The month of October has, on the evidence of those two figures, opened with institutional conviction rather than hesitation.
The broader survey reflects a market that has advanced without extension. Ether closed Sunday's session at $2,726.94 with a momentum reading of 63.9, some 3.1 per cent from overbought ground. Solana, at $121.60, carries an RSI of 66.0; its three-times-tested support at $81.39 lies 33.1 per cent below that close. BNB and XRP closed at $795.43 and $1.52 respectively, both with momentum readings comfortably in the upper half of the range and neither approaching extension.
TRX, at a Sunday close of $0.3357, retains its characteristic quietude. Momentum stood at 48.1 — a fraction below the mid-range threshold — with resistance at $0.3376 remaining 0.6 per cent above that close. The sentiment barometer, at 56 out of 100, holds to neutral ground, even as the headline asset presses against the upper boundary of its momentum range.
