Method: current price and 7-day change from CoinMarketCap (real time).
Weekly min/max, range and volume are computed from Binance daily candles over the last 7 days
— the current price may therefore sit outside that range after a very recent move.
Range = (max − min) / min, in %. 7-day RSI uses Wilder's formula (period 14)
on weekly candles (or aggregated daily candles when unavailable).
Top 20 by market capitalisation, excluding stablecoins. Cryptocurrencies not listed on Binance are shown as “—”.

On the financial press agenda this week: macroeconomics · Bitcoin · geopolitical tensions · ETF flows · Ethereum.
There can be no criterion of value other than gold. Yes, gold, which does not change in nature, which can be made indifferently into bars, ingots or coins.

◆ Verdict · Friday 9 October session
Bullish conviction.
Bitcoin draws $21mn as its price rises 0.75%: conviction holds. Among altcoins, flows remain cautious (+0.27% to +1.08%).
The week that began with Bitcoin pressing against overbought ground ended with it at $82,820, some $3,700 below Monday's opening level, contained within its Bollinger corridor but resting closer to the lower band of $81,220 than to the upper band of $87,126. The 20-day average stands at $84,173. The price, in short, gave ground steadily and settled near the floor of what its own volatility corridor considers normal. That alone would constitute a week worth examining. The flows that accompanied the retreat make it the week's defining story.
Across the seven days, Bitcoin exchange-traded funds recorded net outflows of $681mn; Ethereum products suffered a further $542mn of withdrawals, leaving the combined weekly total at minus $1,223mn. That figure is not a marginal adjustment. It is a co-ordinated withdrawal of institutional capital from both of the market's principal listed instruments, and it arrived as the price was declining rather than rising. In the early sessions of October, as this survey documented day by day, outflows met a price that barely conceded; flows and price moved in opposite directions with a persistence that was itself the signal. Wednesday broke that pattern decisively, and the remainder of the week did not restore it.
Ethereum bore the sharper price consequence. Its seven-day change of minus 7.8 per cent placed it well behind Bitcoin's minus 1.3 per cent, a divergence that the flow data illuminates rather than contradicts. Within the top twenty by market capitalisation, the losses were broad and, in several cases, severe: BCH fell 13.6 per cent, XLM 13.1 per cent, and DOGE 11.3 per cent. The gainers — NEAR at 5.8 per cent, BOBO at 5.8 per cent — offered no counterweight of comparable scale.
Weekly volume in Bitcoin contracted 13.1 per cent against the prior week. The editorial barometer moved from 55.6 to 50.4, remaining in neutral territory throughout but arriving at its lower boundary. The market did not break; it subsided — steadily, across five sessions, with institutional and price signals aligned for the first time in weeks. That alignment, however unwelcome, is the clearest reading the week provides.
